On the way to writing a 2000+-word post about animating SVGs with #Emacs ( https://sachachua.com/blog/2024/01/animating-svg-topic-maps-with-inkscape-emacs-ffmpeg-and-reveal-js/ ), I ended up:
- adding a link to the context of my defun: links, building on https://sachachua.com/blog/2024/01/using-an-emacs-lisp-macro-to-define-quick-custom-org-mode-links-to-project-files/ , https://sachachua.com/blog/2023/01/linking-to-and-exporting-function-definitions-in-org-mode/ , and “:comments both” in my Org Babel header args
- adding figcaptions to my video: links
- learning more about SVG paths and transformations
- using embark cycle to go through different types of targets, and adding a command to open something in Inkscape
- improving my workflow for adding lots of little videos to a post
I also added lots of ideas to my TODO list for more things to try. So many fun rabbit holes! I’m getting better at telling myself that I’m going to just leave things in an “Ideas for next steps” section instead of trying to squeeze in even more things. :)
